I, too, was confused by the ending of the MT production which is why I'm on this website. Thank you for clarifying it. I had forgotten most of the actors who had played in the movie but I thought Simon Callow had played Mr. Bede and a different actor in the MT version thoroughly confused me because until the confusing ending I thought the MT version followed the movie closely, even including the stabbing in Florence. I thought MT's version was just a shortened version of the movie.
This blog allows me to share my opinions of the books I have read, my general thoughts concerning reading, my Christian view on each story, and my love of great literature. I hope, reader, that while you remain in my humble abode, you feel free to give me your opinions, share your thoughts, and make suggestions as to books that I should try. Happy Reading!
